Refund Policy

Our Commitment To You

At MYP Academy, we want every player to improve and enjoy their time on the court. While we always strive for excellence, please note that our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. This policy is designed to be fair to our families and our coaches who prepare for every session. It applies in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer. If we fail to meet a consumer guarantee, such as providing coaching with due care and skill, you are entitled to a remedy under the law based on the circumstances.

Booking and Cancellations

We understand that family schedules can change. If you need to reschedule or cancel a session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, will generally not be eligible for a refund or credit as our coaches are already committed to the time slot. If MYP Academy needs to cancel a session due to coach illness or venue issues, we will offer you a choice between a full refund or a credit for a future session. We do not offer refunds for a simple change of mind once a booking is confirmed.

Refund Processing and Credit Notes

Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method whenever possible. In many cases, we may offer a credit note to be used for future training sessions instead of a direct refund. We aim to process all requests within 7 days. Our goal is to keep Melbourne kids active and on the court, so we will always work with you to find a practical solution that respects both your busy schedule and our coaching team's time.
