Our Training Rules
Welcome to MYP Academy. These terms outline our mutual agreement for basketball training in Melbourne. By booking a session or using our website, you agree to these rules. We are a small business focused on player development and aim to provide a safe, fair environment for all families and athletes participating in our programs.
Bookings, Payments & Refunds
Full payment is needed to secure your session spot. To change a booking, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, will not be refunded or rescheduled. Note that for term programs, credits or refunds are not given for missed classes. At MYP Academy's discretion, we may offer a make-up session by allowing your child to attend a double session in one week, subject to space and coaching availability. We do not offer refunds for changes of mind, though we provide a credit or refund if we cancel a session. Prices and schedules may change; we will notify you of any updates. Use of our site is for personal bookings only.
Safety, Liability & Conduct
Basketball involves physical activity and risk of injury. By training with MYP Academy, you accept these risks and agree that we are not liable for any injuries, medical costs, or loss of property during sessions. Parents and guardians are responsible for the behavior of minors and must ensure athletes are fit to play. We expect respectful behavior from all players and spectators; we reserve the right to remove anyone who is disruptive or unsafe. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
