School Holiday Basketball Camps in
South East Melbourne
Every school holidays, MYP Academy runs high-energy basketball camps across South East Melbourne for players aged 5 to 16. Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or preparing for rep season, our camps combine serious skill development with the fun, competitive environment kids come back for — term after term.

Camps for Every Age and Level
Ages 5–10: A fun-first introduction to basketball. Dribbling, passing, shooting and footwork taught through games, challenges and prizes — building skills and confidence without pressure.
Ages 11–16: A step up in intensity. Shooting mechanics, ball handling, finishing, defence and game IQ, finished with competitive 3v3 and 5v5 play. Suitable for domestic, rep and aspiring rep players alike.
What a Camp Day Looks Like
Morning: warm-up, fundamentals blocks (ball handling, shooting form, footwork) while focus is highest
Midday: skills competitions and shooting challenges with prizes
Afternoon: small-sided games and tournament play with live coaching
All day: water breaks, supervised rest, and coaching corrections in every drill
